Yorkstone

We source our Yorkstone from a number of small quarries in Yorkshire and Lancashire – smaller, often family owned quarries provide better control over quality and the selection process, as well as attention to detail.

Yorkstone is a type of sandstone renowned for its hard wearing qualities and antislip properties. It has been a first choice for many of London’s most prestigious pavements.  Yorkstone has also been used for centuries as a walling stone and in general architectural construction.
